About the Artist
Welcome! My name is Jordan Maes-Jordan (JJ) and I was born and raised in Ohkay Owingeh, New Mexico. Growing up, I spent my time drawing and painting, inspiration deriving from my culture and the great outdoors. I was taught by my grandmother, who was an artist herself, then taught myself as I grew up. I grew up on a farm and spent most of my time outside when I wasn't drawing or painting. I rode horses with my brother and father and went hunting and fishing whenever I could! I draw and paint contemporary Native American art using different mediums including acrylic, watercolor, pastel and oil. I use my art to tell stories, therefor every piece of art has a unique story.
Including my Native American art, I have experience in Anime art, semi-realistic pet portraits, cartoon art and much more. I take commissions on a first come first serve basis and I am excited to work with you!

About The Art
Every original painting I make has its own story and each painting is unique in its own way. I paint what I hear, what I see and what I dream about. Every piece of art comes with its own personalized story and description of meaning and each piece is hand painted with good intentions, healing vibes and blessings for it's new home.

About Commissions
Each commission is made with love and care and I try to make sure the end results are as close to your idea as possible! Your ideas for your commission do not go unnoticed! I take pride in my art and my commissions are no different. Prices range for commissions according to size, difficulty, and medium.
